We are now in a very important phase of the project “Development of simulation and forecasting models and integration with the #cancerimagingarchive database of #medical images”. This week, together with Prof. Kita Sallabanda, and my colleague, Niko Hyka, visited the Department of radiology at #American Hospital in Tirana, to continue with the development of our project.
After the discussion with the leading authorities about the possibility of the inclusion of the American hospital in this study as one of the most complete health structures in the country, its participation and support of the project was confirmed. The American Hospital in Albania, has diagnostic technology among the best in our country, such as CT, MRI, PET of the latest generation. We met the staff of the diagnostic department where we discussed in detail about the project and their involvement in the phase of collecting medical imaging data and testing the model for which we are working in parallel.
The inclusion of as many radiologists as possible in this project and their orientation towards the use of artificial intelligence in medical imaging, is one of the main goals of the project and this is the reason why we are working closely with them.
